Out of these 101 projects, 37 projects made it to the finals through a three-stage evaluation. These finalist projects presented their final presentations over three days and were evaluated by expert jury members in their fields, with the top three projects being awarded.

In his speech at the program, Member of Parliament Bayram Özçelik stated that Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University has made significant progress in the field of livestock, has once again broken new ground in Turkey by organizing such a festival, and wished that the projects that emerged and were awarded within the scope of the festival would be beneficial for Burdur, our region, and Turkey.

In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz said; “As Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, we have occasionally strived to build innovative studies and models in many fields with the opportunities and potentials given to us by being a new and young university. New university models are being discussed in the world, such as entrepreneurial university models, specialization university models, and regional orientation university models. Our being a young university provided us with opportunities to carry out these studies in this field. In this sense, we also sought some models within the framework of existing regulations. We tried to obtain concrete outputs by filling these models within a certain framework. The Livestock Technologies R&D and Innovation Festival (HAYTEKFEST) was important for us both because it was the first and because we are a university specialized in the field of livestock. I would like to thank all the teams who came here and presented their projects, all the participants, and everyone who contributed, and congratulate the projects that were awarded.”

After the speeches, the awarded projects were announced.
