Visit to MAKÜ from Pirnazarov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development.

Uzbekistan Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee Chairman Advisor Ziyodulla Pirnazarov visited Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. Pirnazarov was accompanied by Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner.

Visiting MAKÜ Scientific and Technological Application and Research Center, Dairy Technologies Research and Development Center, Genetics and Embryo Technologies Application and Research Center, Veterinary Faculty Animal Hospital and other livestock-related facilities, Pirnazarov received information about the Honamlı Goat, stating that as a country they are suitable for breeding Honamlı Goat and that it would be appropriate to breed such a breed in Uzbekistan, emphasizing their desire to conduct cooperation studies on this matter.

Stating that there are studies on embryo transfer in Uzbekistan, Pirnazarov mentioned that they are in the process of establishing an embryo center in their country and expressed their desire to benefit from MAKÜ's knowledge and experience in this field. Emphasizing that MAKÜ has expert personnel and strong infrastructure capabilities in embryo transfer, Pirnazarov stated that our university could be an important center for training the human resources needed by Uzbekistan in this field.

Expressing their satisfaction with the visit, Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner emphasized that as a university they are open to bilateral collaborations and thanked Pirnazarov for his visit.
