Rector Dalgar attended the Local Governments and Agriculture Workshop.

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar attended the 3rd Local Governments and Agriculture Workshop organized by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality.

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, who attended the workshop organized by the International Union of Agricultural Cities (Agricities), of which MAKÜ is also a member, hosted by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality and bringing together local administrators from 30 metropolitan municipalities and many countries for common goals and projects, was accompanied by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner.

Expressing their satisfaction with participating in the program, Rector Dalgar said, “It was a productive program where we listened to good practices implemented by local governments in the field of agriculture and livestock and shared experiences. I thank Balıkesir Metropolitan Mayor Mr. Yücel Yılmaz for his kind hospitality.”

As part of his visit to Balıkesir, Rector Dalgar also visited Balıkesir University Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu.

During the visit, which took place in the rector's office, the rectors of the two universities exchanged views. The visit ended with the mutual presentation of gifts.
