With the studies carried out in the field of livestock, KİMER, which plays an active role in the healthy execution and delivery of the outputs and trainings to the sector and stakeholders, is an organization that includes the university radio and television, to meet the application needs of radio-television, cinema production, radio-television broadcasting and public relations education-training given at the university, to contribute to the professional preparation and practices of its students in the relevant fields, to manage the press and public relations activities carried out by the university through traditional and new media, to coordinate the studies of institutional culture, identity, corporate image and reputation management, to follow the developments and technologies in the fields of activity of the Center and to carry out scientific research and development activities, to provide content and program support for activities such as distance education, interactive education, to contribute to the development of the university's cooperation with public institutions, private and international organizations in the field of media and its integration with society. The fields of activity of KİMER are;
To plan and manage all production and broadcasting processes of the university radio and television in line with the goals of the university and the Center
To meet the application needs of radio-television-cinema production, radio-television broadcasting education given at the university and to contribute to the professional preparation and practices of its students in the relevant fields
To follow the developments and technologies in the fields of radio, television, cinema, multimedia, print media, news agency, desktop publishing, advertising and public relations, marketing communication; to carry out scientific research development and application activities
To organize the services of the Center's vehicle fleet in line with the demands of public, private sector and international organizations and individuals, prioritizing student application requirements
To support the studies of institutional culture, corporate identity, corporate image and reputation management of the university
To prepare projects, organize training programs, provide scientific opinions and similar services to national and international public and private sector institutions and organizations in line with the goals of the Center
To send personnel to relevant units in the country and to organizations abroad for short or long-term training in the subjects within the scope of the Center's activities to increase the knowledge and experience of the personnel working at the Center, and to accept those coming from other units in the country or from abroad for the same purposes
To provide and coordinate the necessary infrastructure works, materials, tools-equipment for the activities carried out in line with the goals of the Center
To ensure coordination of all kinds of activities related to the goals mentioned above carried out in the units of the university
To carry out other activities to be decided by the Rectorate and the management bodies of the Center
