Genetics and Embryo Technologies Application and Research Center

Within the scope of the project, our application and research center, considering the field it works in; conducting research on genetic improvement, embryo transfer, sperm, ovum, and embryo in farm animals, and offering embryo transfer technology, which is an important tool in genetic advancement, for the use of regional breeders. Conducting studies aimed at producing bull candidates that can be used in sperm production. Organizing training programs for veterinarians and Veterinary Faculty students to contribute to solving reproductive problems in farm animals. Providing information and technical support on fertility and improvement to regional breeders and supporting and monitoring related projects carried out within the scope of the livestock project, the activity areas of our center established for this purpose are;

Carrying out related projects conducted within the scope of the livestock project
Carrying out embryo transfer applications in farm animals
Organizing training activities on embryo transfer
Conducting activities on sperm and in vitro embryo production
Supporting postgraduate research on genetic improvement and embryo production
Transferring the results of research conducted at the center to production, sharing them with public and private institutions
Guiding regional producers with the production models and methods to be developed and implemented
Organizing educational seminars, conferences, and training courses for local and regional producers
Conducting joint studies and projects on education, research, and production with universities, institutes, agencies, centers, and public institutions at home and abroad within the framework of mutual bilateral cooperation by the university within the scope of relevant legislation provisions
