Center for Application and Research on Standardization and Certification in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry

Our Application and Research Center operates according to national and international standards and/or procedures established by the advisory board, aiming to determine standards for the agriculture and livestock sectors, to certify organizations operating in these areas and deemed appropriate within the requested scope, to ensure the follow-up of the process, and to fulfill standardization and certification functions. The activity areas of our center are as follows;

To establish, maintain, and continuously improve the quality management system related to the Livestock Project and activities carried out at the University
To determine the audit documents and certification conditions of the Center related to the area to be audited
To follow national and international standards and regulations and implement changes if any
To work for the accreditation of the Center
To conduct audits of organizations operating within the scope of the Livestock Project according to relevant regulations, standards, or procedures established by the Advisory Board with the principle of impartiality, to repeat audits at certain intervals, to decide on the compliance and certification degree of the organization, to carry out the certification process, and to downgrade or cancel the certificate if necessary
To provide training and raise awareness to organizations regarding the certification scope
To protect the confidentiality of information of organizations applying for certification
To fulfill other duties assigned by the Rectorate and authorized boards in line with the establishment purpose of the Center
