Animal Husbandry Innovative Projects Application and Research Center

The activity areas of our application and research center, which was established to carry out the functions aimed at developing the implementation and research of projects with R&D and Innovative themes directed towards the sector carried out within the scope of our university's livestock project, to carry out the necessary work and procedures related to the projects, and to monitor the developments and results are as follows;

Identifying the R&D and innovative trends of the livestock sector
Developing university-industry cooperation relations, and contributing to the emergence of R&D and innovative potential and strategies in the light of the obtained data
Developing the culture of local university-industry cooperation, and strengthening the interface mechanism with the participation of other organizations related to the livestock field
Ensuring that the knowledge and technological infrastructure produced in the center can be transferred to the private livestock sector and the public
Creating projects that will develop the units serving the livestock field existing in the university
Establishing a unit for the diagnosis of diseases causing economic losses in livestock
Examining the causes of losses related to animal production in the region
Identifying the causes and economic losses of calf deaths in the livestock sector in the region
Developing preventive measures against metabolic diseases in the livestock sector in the region
Ensuring the continuity of healthy breeding animals in the livestock sector in the region
Developing diagnostic kits for the needs of the livestock sector in the region
Evaluating the products obtained from the center, obtaining branded products, and presenting them to the market
Conducting research and development studies that will ensure total production increase in line with the principles and goals of development plans
Bringing together the applications and research foreseen in associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs in line with existing goals
Guiding regional producers with the production models and methods to be developed and implemented
Conducting joint studies and projects on education, research, and production with domestic and foreign universities, institutes, agencies, centers, and public institutions within the framework of mutual bilateral cooperation by the university under the relevant legislation provisions
